Hotel Aulac, Lausanne

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were a bit cramped, and unfortunately, I had some belongings stolen from room 209. On the bright side, the room amenities like bottled water, tea, and toiletries were a nice touch.

The hotel offers fantastic lake views from rooms with large balconies, but the night temperature can be a bit challenging for sleep. The service was mixed with rude interactions and helpful gestures like providing free transport cards. The location is perfect, right by the lake and close to the metro station. The dining experience varied from very good value to a bit expensive. The facilities were adequate.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, spacious enough for a family of 4, and had a priceless view directly to the lake over the harbor. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Mrs Jenifer. The location was perfect, right by the lake and just a short walking distance to Ouchy port and the subway station. The dining experience was good with a nice view of the lake. Overall, a great value for money!
